Well Being Development (WBD) is a trusted community-based nonprofit agency within Ely, Minnesota. It was formed in 2010 by engaged Ely community members wanting to make a difference for their friends, neighbors, and family; dreaming about a time where all people are able to live their best lives.
Our most vulnerable community member are challenged with chronic mental health issues and chemical dependencies, involvement with the justice system, experiences of loneliness, isolation, shame, and struggles with poverty, illiteracy, homelessness, and hunger.
